Training: Housekeeping Practitioner

Tasks and responsibilities

• Preparing and serving meals
• Cleaning and tidying rooms
• Designing rooms and living spaces
• Cleaning and caring for linens and other soft goods
• Managing storage and stocks
• Preparing for celebrations and events

Training

• Duration: 2 years
• Weekly school days
• Theoretical training
  – Albert-Schweitzer-Schule training centre in Villingen
• Practical training
  – On our premises

The training arrangement applies to people with disabilities as per Section 2 of Book IX of the German Social Code, who are unable to complete a recognised vocational training programme owing to the nature and severity of their disability.
